WAMS-AO is offering incoming 7th and 8th grade girls the chance to earn a spot on the WAMS Girls Volleyball Team roster. The team meets three times a week for a combination of practice and game sessions, competing against other middle school teams in the Central Jersey Junior Schools Athletic Association league. More information about the league can be found on the CJJVL League Website.

Tryout Dates: September 6th and 9th from 2:30 to 4:30 pm at the WAMS Gym.

Attendance on both tryout days is mandatory. Participants should arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time for sign-in and warm-up. Attire with personal or affiliative names is discouraged. Team selection is based purely on merit, regardless of grade levels. Parents and spectators are not permitted during tryouts, and parents are responsible for transportation to practices and games.

All tryout submissions consist of two parts: registration (with a $20 fee to try out) on the AO website and the completion of Athletic Pre-Participation Physicals and/or Health History Updates by August 20th. Please refer to our FAQs for guidance on the necessary forms, downloadable from our Forms tab. All submissions must be made electronically through the parent portal on Genesis. No exceptions! Registration opens on June 10th, 2024, at 12 noon and closes on August 20th. . The approximate cost for team members is $300 and refunds are not available.
