WAMS-AO invites all current 7th and 8th-grade girls to try out for a roster position on the WAMS Girls Lacrosse Team. The team plans to meet three days a week for a mix of practices and games and compete in the CJJSAA middle school league.

Please note: The season is contingent on securing a head coach.

Tryout Details

• Dates: March 18th 
• Time: 2:45 PM –  4:30 PM
• Location: Mountain Park

Important Information for Tryouts:

• Attendance on both tryout days is required.
• Arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in and warm up.
• Athletes must wear neutral clothing with no identifying names or travel/club affiliations.
• Team selection is based solely on talent displayed at tryouts.
• Only current 7th and 8th graders are eligible.
• Parents and spectators are not permitted during tryouts.
• Athletes must bring their own equipment.

Required Forms

To participate, students must submit an Athletic Pre-Participation Physical  and Health History Update:

• Forms must be submitted electronically via Genesis by the deadline.
• Visit the FORMS tab in Genesis to complete the WAMS Athletic Registration Form and upload your documents.
• Early submission is strongly recommended to allow for any corrections.

Season Information

• Practices and games will primarily take place on rented turf fields.
• Approximate participation cost: $325.
• No refunds will be issued
